Sorry we haven’t updated our news in awhile. We’ve been busy! We’ve had a Paperwork wedding and we’ve been working hard on new material. The live show calendar is starting to fill up again. We’ve got a pair of shows coming up at Red 7 in Austin and we’re working on hitting some of our other favorite Texas cities in the coming months, so keep your eyes on the calendar for more dates and come out to the shows and be the first to hear the new Paperwork songs!

You can now find Paperwork on Facebook. There is no elegant way to link that I have found yet, so here is the ugly URL: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paperwork/11722658298. It’s a little sparse right now, since we can’t post any good stuff until they review my ID info (no kidding… I got carded by Facebook, to make sure I’m not stealing music I guess). Seriously though, just think of it as another Paperwork resource… you don’t need to stop checking mySpace all together. Give it another six months and mySpace will be cool again for its “retro appeal.”

Space City Rock out of Houston just posted a review of “Parts and Labor.” If you live in Houston, you should be reading Space City Rock with your morning coffee as it’s a great music site both for Houston/Texas music and national acts as well. If you don’t live in Houston, the site is worth your attention anyways as they have tons of reviews and information about independent music. Go for the review, stay for the site!

Just a quick note to let you know that there are a whole bunch of photos from our 2007 tour and from the recording sessions for “Parts and Labor” posted on Virb.com. Take a moment and peruse. Sorry if the tour photos load a little out of order, but I can’t seem to make them stay in order. Oh well!

Paperwork is crawling back out of its winter cave, blinking against the spring sunlight, cleaning the pine needles from its fur and preparing to start playing rock shows again. Our first show out of the cave will be March 1 at Momo’s! We’ll be headlining the evening, but come early and hang out (just make sure to let them know you’re there for Paperwork). We’re also just shy of confirming a show at Red Eyed Fly in April, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves on that one. Shows in San Antonio, Denton and Houston should be popping up in the near future as well, as well as a few new towns, if all goes well. In the meantime, if you don’t already have our new album, Parts and Labor, you can get it at Amazon.com, iTunes, eMusic, Napster, Rhapsody or our website. If you do have it, pop it in the stereo and play it for all your friends. See you at the shows!
