This is a Burt Reynolds Pillow spotted in a South Congress Shop in Austin. Note the realistic fuzzy moustache and leopard print. Why leopard print? I think it’s a requirement in his merchandising contract.

I saw this situation in Blackmail on South Congress. Imagine you’ve been walking around the local shops in 90 degree heat. All you want to do when you get inside a bit of air-conditioning is have a seat. Now imagine the only chair in the joint is cradling twenty creepy doll heads! And why not?

Home Slice Pizza in Austin has a bunch of fun menu covers. One depicts the different components of a slice of pizza as snap-out model parts. My favorite, though, is this picture of the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo’s ship from Star Wars, with the details done in pizza toppings.

Thanks to everyone that has been coming to shows. Our show last Thursday at Red Eyed Fly, in addition to being very successful and quite packed, was show number 75 for us. So that’s pretty exciting! We’re working on getting our show calendar for March through May populated, we have a couple potential shows that would be amazing if we get them, so keep an eye on the calendar. We do have one show confirmed for April and we’re really excited about it. We’re playing Creekside Lounge with quite possibly the best live act in Austin, Adrian and the Sickness! We played with them a few months ago at Momo’s and had our faces rocked right off. Trust me, this isn’t one you want to miss!
