In my last blog I mentioned being frugal…well, I heard about these Chinese made basses that are supposedly really nice. For $159 you can get one like this:

It’s solid wood too with a glossy finish on the neck. Most bass players hate the sticky gloss finishes but I love them. I figured I’d give it a shot and see for myself. I’m actually really impressed. I might actually take it to a gig or two The one I got was a P bass copy.
